Every member is a member of both the AIGA national organization and one of the 70+ local chapters across the nation. A portion of membership dues goes to support your local chapter's programming and initiatives. Located internationally or just too far from an existing chapter? The fastest way to membership is to create an online account and sign up online. During this process, we will ask if you are a student or an educator or if you have particular areas of interest. This will ensure that you benefit from any relevant discount and receive relevant communications from us.
Membership Levels
Contributing
$50 /year
Perfect for students or professionals who are just starting out, Contributing members receive member discounts, access to AIGA events and local programming, networking opportunities, and so much more.
Supporting
$150 /year
Supporting level members are generally mid-level designers or those who want to access higher level benefits such as Apple product discounts.
Sustaining
$250 /year
Commonly referred to as the professional level, Sustaining level members receive all of our benefits and the ability to apply for an advisory opinion letter.
Design Leader
$500 /year
Design Leader members are just that–leading the design industry by giving back to the local creative community and making a larger impact on the future of the design profession with this level of membership.
Trustee
$2,500 /year
The Trustee level provides the largest contribution to AIGA’s membership, programming, and local influence. The generosity of Trustee donors ensures mentorship, learning, and engagement for design students, practitioners, educators, and enthusiasts across the country.
